STUDENTS’ CORNER
Every PVK student is expected to contribute to a respectful, disciplined, clean and positive learning environment.
Attendance and Punctuality
Arrive at school at least ten minutes before the scheduled starting time.
Attend school regularly and maintain at least 80% attendance during the academic year.
Submit a properly signed leave letter whenever leave is taken.
Participate in the first and last working days of each term, school functions and special programmes unless permission has been granted.
Students with full attendance may be recognised at the end of the academic year.
Uniform and Personal Presentation
Come to school neat, clean and in the complete prescribed uniform every day.
Maintain good personal hygiene and carry all books and materials required for the day’s classes.
Do not bring valuable ornaments or unnecessary personal items to school.
Discipline and Conduct
Show respect to teachers, staff members, classmates and all members of the school community.
Follow classroom instructions, maintain silence when required and avoid behaviour that interrupts learning.
Use polite language and contribute to the English-speaking atmosphere encouraged within the campus.
Remain within the school premises during school hours unless written permission and a gate pass have been issued.
Proceed home promptly after school unless participating in an authorised activity.
Maintain high standards of honesty, responsibility and good conduct both inside and outside the school.
Care for the Campus
Keep classrooms, the library, corridors and the school campus clean.
Use the dustbins provided. Do not throw paper, bottles, cans or other waste on the premises.
Do not write on desks, walls or school property.
Any deliberate damage to school property may be charged to the responsible student or parent.
School Diary, Homework and Assessments
Bring the school diary every day and use it responsibly.
Complete homework and class assignments regularly and on time.
Show teacher remarks, weekly-test notes and dictation books to parents for their signature.
Attend all scheduled tests and examinations. Any absence will be handled according to the school’s assessment policy.
