Parents’ Corner
The school values parents as active partners in student learning, discipline, safety and emotional well-being.
Parent Responsibilities
Ensure that the child arrives at school on time, neatly dressed and in the complete school uniform.
Check the school diary every day, confirm that homework has been completed and sign the diary as required.
Review and sign weekly-test notes, dictation books and teacher remarks promptly.
Encourage regular attendance, punctuality, respectful behaviour and responsible study habits at home.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and meet the concerned teacher or Principal whenever requested.
Notify the school office promptly about any change in residential address or telephone number.
Support school rules and cooperate with teachers when behavioural or academic concerns are communicated.
Communication with the School
The school diary is an important daily communication channel between parents and teachers. Parents are requested to read entries and remarks carefully and respond whenever action is required. SMS updates may also be used for important school communication.
Requests, concerns and complaints should be addressed through the school office.
Parents should not enter classrooms or meet students and teachers during school hours without the Principal’s permission.
When early pickup is necessary, the parent should come personally and complete the required office procedure. Children will not be handed over to an unidentified person.
Parent-teacher meetings are arranged once every term. Parents are encouraged to use these meetings to understand academic progress and areas requiring support.
Leave and Health
Submit a leave letter to the class teacher when the child is absent.
For planned leave, parents should inform the school in advance and sign the leave request.
For absence extending beyond one week due to illness, a medical certificate should be produced.
Give children healthy snacks such as nuts, vegetables, fruits or sundal and avoid junk food.
Parents of LKG children should send the additional clothing and meal accessories requested by the school.
Student Safety
Students should not wear gold or silver ornaments to school. The school cannot accept responsibility for valuables brought to the campus.
Parents should follow the official arrival and dispersal procedure and avoid sending unfamiliar persons to collect a child.
Current contact numbers must be available with the school office for emergency communication.
